The Finale Grand Plan to help you plan your visit on Saturday 25th of April to Birkenhead Central Library. We have 25 makers throughout the ground floor of Birkenhead Central – all doing different activities and all requiring different space.

We have made the big decision that Wirral MakeFest 2026 will be the last MAKERS event exploring STEAM subjects in a one day festival that we will organise (we being Wirral MakeFest C.I.C) and we would like to go out on a high! Make this, our Finale, the best yet.

Wirral Repair Cafe joins forces with Wirral MakeFest on Tuesday the 15th of April between 9:30am and 12:30pm in the The Lighthouse Church to provide a drop in information table in Heswall, less than a month before the main event of Wirral MakeFest C.I.C calendar, with support from UK Shared Prosperity Fund.

Wirral Makefest C.I.C is excited to announce a series of events leading up to its highly anticipated main event at Birkenhead Central Library on the 10th of May 2025. The festivities begin with a fundraising barn dance, followed by a free plastics workshop, and culminate in a vibrant celebration of creativity and local craftsmanship. Â

First of four workshops is coming this Friday to the Cherry Tree Shopping Centre in Liscard. Join us to make a sustainable Christmas wreath using fabric and paint lids! No skills required. Join us from 10am until 12 noon.

We have made the decision to shift our timing for Wirral MakeFest for 2025 and looking towards holding our event on Saturday the 10th of May 2025 and in one location only – Birkenhead Central Library. We are also proposing this will be a non-selling event. Our reasons behind these changes are very practical.
