Paper by Dragonfly returns to Wirral MakeFest for one last time and she has been with us for everyone of our outings with her amazing flowers from natural dyed paper.
“Sustainability is at the core of my creative practice. My passion is British Wildflowers – I visit schools delivering crafts workshops alongside a session discussing biodiversity, looking at pollinators and wildflowers. In arts and crafts, anything is possible, but just because you can, doesn’t always mean you should! My approach to crafting is to always avoid the use of any plastics. I also have a special interest in natural colour and dye many of my papers using plant and vegetable matter. I don’t want my art to contribute to the ongoing pollution of our environment!’
Ling has been prolific in her Hoylake studio recently, her flowers was part of Floribunda in The Atkinson in Southport in 2025 (this will hopefully be coming to Wirral later this year).
***As seen in Brides Magazine; You & Your Wedding; Vogue; Tatler; Rock & Roll Bride – and many more***
Ling and her flowers will be with us from 10am until 4pm at the Birkenhead Central Library on 25th of April and will be doing ongoing demonstrations.
