Wirral MakeFest are excited to make an open invitation for Makers to sign up to be part of Wirral MakeFest 2024 which will take place on Saturday June 1st 2024 at Birkenhead Central Library and The Williamson Art Gallery & Museum.

We are looking for makers, artists, craftspeople, coders, designers, creatives, techy types, illustrators, jewellers, welders, woodworkers, mathematicians and more. If you are an organisation or individual who would like to come and showcase your work, can facilitate a talk, an activity, a demonstration, then please get in touch.

Wirral MakeFest is a celebration of STEAM for all ages. Bringing together Makers from Wirral and the wider UK for a day that will excite, entertain and inspire attendees to go away and be enthused about getting involved in making themselves!

As we did last year, we will be asking Makers to think of how they can bring sustainability front and centre in what they do. How are you already making what you do sustainable, and how might we expand that even further.

The inaugural Wirral MakeFest in 2023 was an overwhelming success with over 50 makers, and 1500 visitors on the day. We want to make our 2024 MakeFest even more special, with more Makers and Visitors, as we look to celebrate the Wirral being made The Liverpool City Region Borough of Culture 2024. Yet again Wirral MakeFest will be a two site event – the Williamson Art Gallery & Museum and Birkenhead Central Library but we have even more space than last time in each venue.
