Join us for a fun and creative event on Sunday the 23rd of March where you can learn how to repurpose old banners into stylish bags. Our experienced instructor, Nicola of Quilt Stitch Social will guide you through the process step by step. What’s more it is free!

No prior experience is necessary – just bring your enthusiasm and willingness to learn! This in-person workshop is a great opportunity to meet other people and unleash your creativity. Don’t miss out on this unique event – reserve your spot today! There are twelve spaces in each of our events on the 23rd of March (select either a morning session or afternoon session). Book for the session that suits you – one session should be enough. The site of our workshop is in Moreton at the roundabout. The session is 16+ (book an additional space for a guardian if under 18).

The aim is to reuse the banners that were outside the Williamson Art Gallery and around Port Sunlight during the Borough of Culture, to make bags for you to take away and if we have time some extra to sell to raise money for Wirral MakeFest. Our main event was funded by the UK government through the UKShared Prosperity Fund as part of the Liverpool City Region Borough of Culture for 2024 and we had planned to have some workshops before our June 2024 event but are pleased, we are now able to do this.
