Awesome Liverpool has given us £500 toward bringing a planetarium to Birkenhead Central Library for Wirral MakeFest!
The planetarium will be located in the children’s part of the library on June 3 and will be pre-bookable on Eventbrite.
Why a planetarium? We wanted a space that would be a bit quieter, wheelchair accessible and an amazing sensory experience that will support everyone.
The Williamson Art Gallery also have their Apollo Remastered exhibit of the first Moon Landing, which is a perfect reason for all space enthusiasts to visit both of our locations!
During the day, we’ll have ten 25 minute shows that you can book onto. People of all ages will be able to sit and look at the stars inside the inflated planetarium and hear about their courses through the solar system!
