Lime Street Concrete have been designing and creating concrete home accessories and concrete artworks for over three years. They have joined together to share their new collaborative range that combines concrete and glass. Recently they have been working with another of our makers Saving Ron’s Place to run workshops from Future Yard (a new music base in Birkenhead and with The Convenience Gallery. All very local and great to have all this going on in Birkenhead. We love this collaborative working practice.
“Our examples will be the raw materials we use to create our products. We’d be discussing the processes of using two materials to create products that allow us to reduce production waste.”
They will delve into detail on how they work along with a selection of tools used and examples of materials such as pieces of glass and concrete.
Lime Street Concrete and Olive Can Fly will be based at Williamson Art Gallery & Museum on the 3rd of June 2023 between 10 am and 4 pm. They work out of a new creative space in Hamilton Square near the train station.
