Minibus between venues for benefit of people with disabilities

Minibus between venues for benefit of people with disabilities

After much trying, we could not secure a heritage bus as we had last year – it was such an attraction. We have arranged, through very gracious support from Wirral Mencap, a minibus between our two venues for benefit of people with disabilities. The short walk between the library and the Williamson Art Gallery may be problematic for some people and cut down on their enjoyment of our event. Their driver, Ben has lots of experience driving the bus and using the rear lift so people who have need of this service can feel confident that they are in safe hands.

First step, get your ticket, then plan your route to get to us – hopefully by public transport or walking. If you have to come by car – there is a car park at the Williamson Art Gallery & Museum. All their travel information is on their website and for the library, there is a free car park on Turner Street, across Borough Road. The walk between the two venues takes 9 minutes via Balls Road (downhill from Williamson to the library).
